The famous restaurant of Jamie Oliver in Dundrum has a great reputation for the high quality of food served and the people do not disagree about the fact that Jamie’s Italian is really good.

To avoid this any issues getting a seat, Call them (Number at the bottom of this post) and plan ahead – chances are high that you won’t get a seat simply dropping in.

We arrived however on a Sunday eve and we got lucky – they said it’s usually a quiet time of the week and we sat right in without calling.

This isn’t the first time we’ve been to Jamie’s Italian, but it never ceases to amaze us how they designed it inside (every…time…!)
With a few noticeable changes, there’s more seats as you get in and we couldn’t avoid how lit up the place was.

The unique starter we haven’t seen before from Jamie’s are these nachos:
They were an absolute delight, the crusted parmesan on top with chili and tomato sauce were amazing.

The second starter is the ‘world’s best olives’, great choice for a starter and the design is brilliant!
These ice chips add a cool breeze to the olives and it gives a refreshing feel in your mouth.

The ‘humble green salad’ is a unique experience with the basil & tarragon yogurt dressing on green leaves.

The rocket & radicchio salad has left an amazing experience last time we went to Jamie’s, it didn’t disappoint and the taste was all the same!
It’s a highly recommended side salad that every person who has ever come with me to Jamie’s enjoyed the freshness and light balsamic dressing.

The “Famous prawn linguine” with garlic, fennel & rocket with chili are made to warm you up on a cold winter night in Ireland.
Important to note, the sauce was cooked with great finesse – no sour flavors nor salty after-taste, the sauce was delicious. we take our hats off to the chef for this one.

The Funghi Misti pizza below was very good, oven baked and perfectly done – the wild mushrooms were fantastic with smoked cheese on it.

All of these dishes were just perfect, we want to take our hats off to Jamie’s Italian for a great experience that finished off with this delightful Chocolate brownie.
